They look pretty good.
Do they look good for being around $30 a roll once they’ve been processed and scanned? I’m not sure.
Being honest, the Tri-X shots that turned out I’m thrilled with. Nothing looks like black and white film.
The color film I’m less sure about. I like the look, but I like my digital color stuff as well. Bear in mind that the color film was also 10 years expired.
That’s where I’m at. As much as I like the look of these results, I’m not swayed either way. And digital is a wayyyyy cheaper way for me to go.
Unsurprisingly, I think I’ll be reserving my film work for more personal work, stuff that it doesn’t necessarily matter if it turns out 100%.
I had fun though, and Tri-X looks wonderful.
